CCAF works together with local organizations to raise money and the money is shared with those organizations and others.

The success of the 2007 Million Dollar Shootout allowed us to provide funding for 1,000 local children to attend the Nutcracker performance presented by the Knox Concert Series at Anniston High School.  We partnered with Honda in this effort.  We also provided Christmas shopping trips for 50 children in the area and donated $100 gift cards to more than 25 families in time for Christmas.

Our most recent fundraiser was the 2008 Eat Big at Outback Steakhouse on April 17, 2008.  A profit of $16,578.45 was raised and from that an $11,000 donation was made to Children’s Rehabilitation Services of Calhoun County.

The dates for the 2008 Southern States Bank Million Dollar Shootout will be August 15-17th.  The event will be held at Cane Creek Golf Course.  Spaces are currently available for tee sponsors.  Call (256) 240-2445 for more information.
